This is a full lesson based on a comparison between Poppies by Jane Weir and Kamikaze by Beatrice Garland from AQA’s English Literature paper 2, Power and Conflict. There is a quick ‘do now’ activity and two model what/how/why paragraph based on the question. This is very useful for revision, that also looks in depth at the park scheme and indicative comment. I’ve used it recently and have told my Year 11s and they responded really well to the lesson.
